Grilled Cheese + Sprouts

INGREDIENTS:

Gluten free sliced bread

Vegan sliced cheese

Alfalfa sprouts

Sliced tomato

Vegan mayonnaise

Turkey bacon (optional)

 

DIRECTIONS:

Bear in mind, this is a splurge comfort food. It’s not necessarily healthy, but sometimes you just need a gooey grilled cheese to make everything better.

 

Add some vegan mayonnaise to the bread, add a couple slices of vegan cheese. Add sliced tomato and alfalfa sprouts. If you want to add a couple slices of turkey bacon, go for it. Heat a little (keyword: a little, let’s not make it soggy) olive oil over medium-high heat. Grill your grilled cheese on both sides until its golden bound and the cheese is melted.

 

Goes great paired with some tomato soup too!
